Finished up our inventory today (98.47% of our books accounted for). I have to admit it felt very strange being in the library by myself!

Enjoy your summer! Take some time to read and enjoy a great story. If your readers need a motivational program, both SPL and the UBookstore have great summer reading programs. Consider setting your own reading goals too. In my house we’ve done a 100 chapter challenge as well as a 20 book challenge – what goals would work for you?
Please take a moment to clean out your backpack, car, bedroom, bookshelf, etc., in search of your DBE Library books. As of 12:32 today, 6/3 we still have 674 books checked out to our readers. Let’s get those books in. One student wanted to be sure to remember so she left herself this note.
