New and Improved?

The DBE Library’s Blog has tried on a new pair of shoes!  Our new theme is “Superhero” and I’ve chosen it to try and make this blog more readable on mobile devices.  The Menu at the top contains specific curricular content by grade level.  The nav bar (links, subscriptions, calendar, etc) is located at the bottom when you are viewing from a mobile device.  Let me know what you think, rlwynkoop@seattleschools.org.

3/28, 77% and 68

MarchGoalThe DBE Library is delighted to announce that we will be hosting author J. Scott Savage in the Library on Friday March 28th!  Mr. Savage is best known for his two series’ FarWorld and Case File 13. Most of our 4/5 classes will be listening to Mr. Savage for about 45 minutes!  In preparation for his visit, the 4/5 classes began doing research on Mr. Savage  this week.  We’ll share our information, prepare questions and explore his works prior to his arrival.

Our 4/5 students have also continued to work towards meetings their reading goals.  Today I was able to confirm that 97 of our 4/5 students have met their reading goals set back in November.  We are at 77% and climbing – working towards a full 100%

Lastly, this came up simply as I was glancing at the calendar for the rest of the year – there are only 68 school days left!  Holy Bagumba!
