Jacqueline West, author of the Elsewhere Series, will be coming to Bagley to talk with our 4th and 5th grade students about her newest book in the series. We have begun to prepare for her arrival!Listening to the first few chapters, in audio format, DBE Readers are taking notes (in their library sketchbooks) that describe the scene/setting of the first book, The Shadows. After students review their notes and select 5-7 important descriptors, they are using the libary’s iPads to create one page info graphic that set the scene of the story. Students are quickly learning that their keywords directly impact their search results and are working to target their searches.
